We’re looking for an accounting enthusiast to be help support our fun-loving and hard-working accounting team.  Taking on this role will require the right mix of accounting knowledge, dedication, eagerness to learn new tools and technologies and a focus on details – is that you?

Our Accounting Specialist is:

  • Ready to work with an amazing food and beverage brand in the better-for-you space with their day-to-day accounting and reporting.
  • Excited to join our Accounting team and support our amazing Temple Lifestyle Team in achieving company-wide goals.
  • Ready to take charge of daily AP & AR activities and support our team in monthly closing procedures.
  • Someone with an eye for detail and a prepared to take initiative to get to the bottom of things.
  • Comfortable working with numbers but equally at ease dealing with people.
  • Tech savvy with a good understanding of MS Excel and open to learning to work with a cloud-based ERP system.
  • Eager to join a culture that promotes hard work and fun in equal measure.
  • Open to question the status quo and proposing solutions for change.

Reporting to the VP, Finance but working closely with the Accounting Manager on a day-day basis, the Accounting Specialist is a valued member of the Finance Team, responsible for ensuring that our records are always up to date with accurate, reliable data.  You will be joining a company that is growing rapidly and will play an important role in helping the team move the company forward in an industry that is changing and evolving every day.

Your main responsibilities will be to manage payables on a day-to-day ensuring we are up to date on processing invoices, payment runs, emails and expense reports, as well as record customer receivables and some collections follow-ups. You will also assist the Accounting Manager with the monthly and yearly closing which includes processing our central credit card transactions, reconciling AP ledgers and AR sub-ledgers, monthly sales tax filings and helping out with some ad-hoc reporting.
